OneRoom – Funeral video streaming
Allan Drew Funerals has partnered with OneRoom to provide a quality video streaming option for family and friends who are unable to attend the funeral service.
OneRoom offers a private webcasting experience, where the funeral service is live streamed and recorded so that family or friends that are unable to attend the funeral can watch it in real-time or later on. The video recording will be securely stored by OneRoom for up to 90 days, giving you the flexibility to share the viewing link with loved ones and revisit it when convenient. A downloaded copy of the recording can also be purchased for $39.
There are reasons why you may be forced to miss the funeral of a loved one. By offering this webcasting service at our funeral homes, you, your family members or friends that aren't able to be there on the day can still watch the service and be part of the funeral. All that is needed is an internet connection and a device that can display video, and the email invite to access recording.
How it works:
- Schedule; the funeral home schedules the service for an automated recording.
- Invite; the family member organising the service will receive an email invitation that can be forwarded to others.
- Record and view; when the service begins, cameras begin recording and streaming, simple as that.
- Watch again; the archived recording of the service is accessible through the same email invitation and can be downloaded to share with your family and friends.
