As we cater to the needs of the family, there are many venues available to choose from, including:

  • The Garden Chapel at Castlebrook Memorial Park
  • A local church such as:
    • Our Lady of the Angels
    • Rouse Hill Anglican Church

    • Riverstone Baptist Church

Following the ceremony, your loved one can be buried, cremated or memorialised at Castlebrook Memorial Park. Established in the early 1960s, Castlebrook Memorial Park is spread out over 180 acres of beautifully maintained parkland that provides for both cremation and burial memorial options. Other available memorial options include both Castle Hill Cemetery or Riverstone Cemetery - both which are located near our funeral home.

Our people

The team at Allan Drew Funerals Rouse Hill are with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and guiding you through the arrangements as much or as little as you need.

Meet Peter Harvey, Allan Drew Funerals Rouse Hill Location Supervisor

What do you enjoy about your job?
Having experienced the loss of my parents in the decade before, I want to provide support to families for their final farewell. Walking with families through their journey of grief exceeds all other roles I have held, and I can see real results of my work.

How long have you been in the industry?
I have been with Allan Drew Funerals for just over 9 years. Prior to Allan Drew Funerals, I considered early retirement but decided to pursue a career in the funeral industry to fulfill my desire to continue to service the community.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
My family is my hobby! I enjoy continuing the great work my mother had done in conducting family history research. I have proven rumours of family relationships with descendants from the 1700’s, notably Sir Joseph Banks!

What's one thing people don't know about you?
I am fascinated with aviation, planes and flying. In my mid 30’s, I gained my restricted pilots licence. The feeling of taking off and being in control of a Cessna 172 was a major escalation of my fascination and I logged over 80 hours of solo flying.

What do you like about your local area?
It’s not only beautiful with views of the Blue Mountains, but it is also well supported with superb infrastructure, education facilities and dining experiences. It is unlikely we will ever leave.

What's the more remarkable funeral you've arranged?
I met with a family who were grieving the loss of their father and husband, who I’d known through Castle Hills Bowling Club. I suggested that we hold the service at the club. With the family’s permission, we stopped the recessional at the bar and ordered his favourite beer.

What charities does your brand support?
We support the Lions Club Eyeglass Recycling Program to supply prescription glasses to under-developed communities in Australia and overseas. We also work with the Parramatta Mission’s Winter blanket drive for homeless people in the area.

What makes your brand special?
Every staff member constantly strives to achieve the highest standards of service that our founder, Allan Drew, implemented in his business over 30+ years ago. Allan’s legacy remains with us all as we continue to see high levels of families returning to us in their time of need.
